Matchday is better with mates

A pick on 1x2.social isn't a screenshot in the group chat. It's a post your friends can tail, fade, argue with, and check at full time.

Tail
Back a mate's pick with one tap. It lands on your slip and settles with theirs.
Fade
Think they're wrong? Go the other way. You both find out at the final whistle.
My slip
Everything you've posted, tailed or faded, in one place until the result comes in. A loser ends up as a torn ticket.

How a pick becomes a record

You post. The result does the rest. Nobody, including you, gets to mark a pick as a winner. Full walkthrough with a worked example.

  1. Before kick-off

    Post the pick

Choose a real upcoming game from the fixture list, pick the winner or a total goals or points line, add the odds and your confidence in units, and say why you like it. It goes out to your followers with a timestamp.

  2. Full time

    1x2.social settles it

When the game ends we read the final score and mark the pick won, lost or void. You don't type anything in, and neither does anyone else.

  3. On your profile

    Your record updates

Win rate, ROI, units and form recalculate. Settled picks stay in your history, so anyone can scroll back and check.

Kick-off to settled, and nobody touches it

This is what happens to a pick on matchday. It sits as pending, goes live when the game starts, and settles the moment the official result comes in. The result lands on the record without the tipster lifting a finger. No money moves at any point.

  1. Pick posted at odds of 1.80, 2 units
  2. Kick-off, pick is live
  3. Official result received: 2–1
  4. Settled as won, +1.60u added to the record

Example match and pick. Units are a tracking score for the record, not money.

Straight answers

The short version of what people ask us most. There are more on the FAQ page.

What is 1x2.social?

1x2.social is a free social community app for sports-betting fans and tipsters. Tipsters post picks on real upcoming games, 1x2.social settles each pick automatically from the final score, and every tipster builds a verified public record of win rate, form and ROI, with leaderboards. Friends can tail or fade any pick. There is no real money involved, and it is for adults 18+.

Is 1x2.social a betting site?

No. 1x2.social is not a bookmaker or sportsbook. It takes no bets, holds no stakes and pays no winnings, and no real money is ever involved in a pick. It is a social app for sharing and tracking picks, just for fun and bragging rights, for adults aged 18 and over.

How does 1x2.social verify a tipster's record?

Every pick is tied to a specific real game and timestamped when it is posted. When the game ends, 1x2.social reads the final score and marks the pick won, lost or void automatically. Tipsters can't settle or delete their own results, so the record shows what actually happened.

What do Tail and Fade mean on 1x2.social?

To Tail a pick is to copy it onto your own slip and back the tipster. To Fade a pick is to go against it. My slip holds every pick you're part of, posted, tailed or faded, until it settles; a losing one becomes a torn ticket. None of it involves money.

How is ROI calculated on 1x2.social?

ROI is profit divided by the total staked, counted in tracking units rather than money. Leaderboard ROI assumes the same stake on every pick, so nobody can inflate it by staking big on short odds. For example, 10 picks at 1 unit each that return 12.25 units is +2.25 units of profit and an ROI of +22.5%.
